I used this face nailing Brazilian Walnut to install and was impressed by her after the utility that I ruined several pieces during practice.

I recommend using this tool in conjunction with the Porta-JACK Pro "tool to speak (see my review) that the facility taking place on the floor provides a solid anchor for Nailer face. Drag the nailer against taking any face and push against to keep it rock steady. See my photos above from a recent redinstallation of an oak floor.

I used a short-handled hammer (not the one that comes with the Nailer) for better control. Use the tip of your foot to press the nailer against Jack and the use off-hand to press the handle of the nailer. Use the dominant hand on the hammer and nail down on the RAM, avoiding blows at an angle.

Drag the nailer the other side of the socket, repeat the steps above and nails again. Press the catch and drag the edge about 6 "and reset the outlet. Repeatprocess until all nails are in.

Use of this technigues with taking the boards are tight and the nailer will not slip while driving the nail. You can quickly deal with nail tips with professional results.

It is difficult to use the face-nailer well without taking, but you'll get better with time, the key being the use of a short-handled hammer that allows you to get the weight of the body directly above the nailer, pressing with your hand you offnails. I bought this nailer to install 1500 square feet 3 / 4 solid walnut for a customer. Rental fees would have exceeded the cost of purchasing the power tool and based on the comments, it seemed like a decent choice (and it was about the only type of nailer I do not own yet ...). Nailer arrived in a few days. Case is nice and has most everything needed to maintain the tool. Tool even comes with a standard air industrial Fiting installed.

He led almost all the spikes perfectlyand I only had one jamb that was caused by my lightly bumping the striker (which will partially drive a fastener) and then striking it for real - jamb was easily cleared by removing one plate with the tools provided. I used only Bostitch cleats.

I noticed that it didn't sit perfectly flat on the flooring with the base plate provided so I added a shim made from high pressure laminate (Formica) between the base plate and the nailer. The addition of that shim made the nailer sit perfectly on the wood. I didn't use it without but it shouldn't make too much of a difference.

The mallet provided with my nailer was very good and I had no problems with it at all as some of the others reported.; maybe they got the word. I did use it hard and for the entire 1500 sq. ft.

Now, the one flaw. I read some other reviews where they stated that the nailer started leaking air. This one did too but only intermittently. It would sometimes bleed a little air when the safety trigger remained compressed between shots. The leaking air did not affect the ability to drive fasteners at all and came and went about three times per room - not a big deal but a bit annoying. I did not rebuild the nailer with the o-rings provided. Figured I wait until it really didn't work.

I would recommend this nailer for the serious DIYer or the occasional flooring install for a remodeling contractor like myself.

I bought this nailer to tack some new baseboards, a job I hate doing manually and that hurts my back. The Bostitch has worked very well, was light (as these things go) and made a quick work baseboards. Once I familiarized myself with the settings, such as the depth of the well polish was perfect. I recently bought the Porta-Nailer 461 to install some Shaw engineered Walnut in our living and dining rooms. I am currently over half way done with the project, but wanted to review the firearms. I have yet to have any problems with the operation of this tool.

The floor attachment, it is very, very easy to get the staples exactly where they should be. I tried to use my first and finish nailer, so I was able to get the right air pressure in a short time, I had to spenda lot of time making certain I was aligned to each nail and still had a moderate percentage of nails that went too far on the tongue or in the place where they left marks on the finished wood. With the Porta-Nailer I've just set the air pressure once, then begin to pull away with the staples properly aligned every time. I had no problems with jams, missed shots, or any other problem with the gun. It does exactly what it is supposed to.

I especiallythe fact that the kit comes with a standard head and the head floor. I have several other projects that I can see using this gun to the head base and the standard is what has made the purchase and value of money for me.

I would have given the Porta-Nailer five stars if it were not for the standard head. I had to take a grinder to the standard head to remove some parts so it does catch. It did not take more than a few minutes to get his head to answer, but if Idid not have the right tools or unwillingness to do the job, then the standard head would have been useless on our stapler (I doubt it this way on each). This is the only issue I had with the stapler and overall I am very pleased with this purchase. It made my job much more floor to go faster and easier than I had imagined.

Having used both, and Bostitch staplers CAP Hitachi, I can say without doubt that the Bostitch caps are the best. They work in Bostitch staplers CAP smoothly, are easy to load, and are inexpensive. Not only caps sometimes tear Hitachi, sometimes they do not release the roll easily. The ceilings Bostitch never tear and are individually stacked on the stick.

The biggest advantage I have found, however, is that you can drag a stick in yournail bag and crimp caps individual use with a standard stapler. Many times you will see that your stapler CAP does not matter where you want to place a staple, but a weapon smaller clip. This is especially handy when hanging insulation in tight spaces. Taking a hat on when you staple, you can prevent the base of the tear in the insulation support. (Of course, once the nose of the stapler on the CAP, you want to move your finger before pullingtrigger.) Ceilings Bostitch also work with brads. They are just tougher than plastic baits roll.

Thus, the Bostitch caps are not only more versatile, but you will never have a staple tear. Although they are slightly more expensive than rolling primers, they are a better overall value. Especially if you need to maintain a basic ceiling when you use a standard base or a pistol Brad.

If you own a Bostitch stapler then plug these ceilings are your only choice. Ifdo not have a stapler from the CAP, you can use these caps individually with any basic weapon. In any case, they are the best baseball caps, you can buy.

This pin nailer met my expectations. I used the Porter Cable brand pins poplar and shot consistently and milling spindles without any problems. It includes a pre-recorded fourth "air fitting industry, two Allen wrenches, a bottle of oil and a blow molded case.

Overall, I found the value to be exceptional, especially considering the price of competing tools. However, there are some problems with this tool, the combination of which made me give this tool 4 rather than 5stars.

1) There is a security mechanism that runs behind the trigger down to keep the trigger pull, or turn in place to permit firing. I found that this rotation down from time to time during use and must be returned back. That is my biggest complaint about the tool, although the mechanism could be permanently disabled without too much effort if we wanted to go in that direction.

2) the announcement and the state of packaging ", the length regulator automatically sets nails nail your desiredlength. "I was wrong, it means that the depth of the struggle against the sink can be controlled. In fact, it is trying to say is that there is a switch on the side of the tool that must be changed depending on the length of your pin use. The instructions do not address this feature at all.

4) The instructions are atrocious. They have a responsibility and a few safety precautions followed by somevague instructions (mostly about the lubrication of the tool), all written in such broken English to be almost incomprehensible. In addition to this, all units are metric, including a warning on the number of mega-pascals that the air supply must not exceed. This does not, in my opinion, the decrease usability of the tool, the operation is simple enough, but it is something that manufacturers and distributors in the United States would be satisfied with the quality of instruction.

What could I say? Milwaukee has struck again! I thought Brad nailers Bostitch were the best. I have a Bostitch which is about seven years, but compared to my two new Brad Nailers Milwaukee, the Milwaukee are much nicer and quieter. They are lightweight and feel of quality. The exhaust exits at the back if you never get a breath of fresh air in the face. The depth control works well when the level brads can be adjusted with the surface. Since I install a lot of paint quality moldings, setting thebrads flush with the surface while saving time and effort to fill the holes head Brad. I usually work with two guns Brad, at the same time ... one with 1 "brads and the other with 2" brads. I nail the thinner edge of the molding with 1 "brads and the thicker the edge of 2" brads. This saves much time. In addition, the hardware is built with the magazine (not metal), allows the nails to slide along easily and never hung up.
