These buffers excellent work and stay in place when drilling. I am an electrician and crawling attics and under houses is what I do. So I do not understand what the guy above talking about? I put these to the test and bought from some other brands of pads that can not be compared. I am buying another pair. I like the deep front lip / cup that holds the knee in place while moving forward. The strap is unique because the double straps on other models platoon behind the knee which makes it uncomfortable(pinch!). I do not give them 5 stars because I think they need more gel and some Velcro on the sides to better organize the straps for smaller legs like mine. If you are a major type of SRAP will fine. For me, the straps wrapped around the capture only a small part of the velcro and wearing it in a few months. So I use tape because I love skating.
