Have used this nailer for several months now and I am very satisfied.
No trouble finding nails as they occur at local Home Depot and online from Amazon.
Advantages: works great, no jams yet, for use in low volume of a small compressor works well, the nails are available.
Disadvantages: difficult to use in tight areas, exhaust will awaken a lot of dust in confined spaces, lost the tip of protection in a week, falls too easily.

Firstly, I must admit the old model of this Nailer DeWalt. I bought four years ago when they offered the $ 50. I am a Residential Remodeler and use this tool a fair amount, but not as much as someone who comes framed. This nailer has some features I really like. It has a tool free depth adjustment, a rafter hook (although I would feel more comfortable if it was metal rather than plastic), and I like that the magazine can be removed easily jams clear. This featurecome in handy on several occasions. The tool is lightweight and relatively short from the nose to the rear, which allows while trying to negotiate tighter spaces. The power is good but not knock your socks. It will sink a nail drives in a beam of LVL, but not much deeper. So far, it has been durable enough. There are some complaints I have about it. For some reason, it tends to stutter a bit. It does not get caught very often, it simply does not a nail on the fire about 5% of the plans. I need a framing nailer cheap. This thing has saved a ton of nail - construct a 16X16 ft deck, then a year later: Adding more 7X20 ft with a cat walk. He stops shooting (no jam, just stop) if you allow the nails almost over - but if you keep adding nails you shoot them, it will all trouble free day.
