Bostitch BT125 5/8-Inch to 1-1/4-Inch 18 Gauge Brad Nailer Overview
Offering the industry’s highest power-to-weight ratio, this Bostitch brad nailer kit is easy on the arm but full of user-friendly features to simplify projects from trim work to paneling, stair-building to crafts. While most pneumatic tools require several drops of oil daily for lubrication, this tool’s oil-free design means less downtime, no more post-job cleanup or nasty messes on stain-grade trim.
Weighing just 1.9 pounds, this tool packs an impressive 145 in./lbs. of driving power. The tool’s innovative magnesium frame means optimal durability, despite the light weight. It drives 18-gauge brads from 5/8- to 1-1/4-inches in length. (If you’re looking for a bit more power and a 2-inch nail capacity, this tool has a bigger brother. The BT200K-2 features 170 in./lbs. of torque.) An ultra-quiet rear exhaust rotates 360 degrees, which is great for working in tight quarters where it’s difficult to dodge discharge, or around corners and odd-shape workpieces. Offering another big step forward in brad nailing, the tool’s open nose design ensures complete access to the drive channel for fast and simple jam clearing. And, an quick-access depth adjustment enables quick changes on the fly.
A scrupulously ergonomic design offers unsurpassed balance and accuracy. The tool responds to slight movements of the wrist like it knows where you want to go. Comfortable for both right- and left-hand users, the handle features a molded rubber grip for an outstanding combination of comfort and durability. A highly visible reload indicator lets you know when more fasteners are needed, and an exclusive magnetic strip holds fasteners in place for remarkably smooth loading operations--a handy feature for precarious ladder work. Best of all, the adjustable depth control combines with the work protecting no-mar tip to make precise countersinking a breeze. --Brian D. Olson
