Cheap Bostitch MCN-150 StrapShot Metal Connector Nailer Review

If you're in a job long enough to begin to get excited when new, well thought out and designed tools appear. A while ago, the JLC reviewed StrapShot Bostitch Metal Connector. After reading the reviews I knew it would work in my future that would use would be the perfect excuse to buy this nailer and put them to good use.

Oh Baby! Where have you been all my life! During the era of dinosaurs, we used to fly in teco nails with rocks. This wasa little hard on the rocks and fingers. Then, during the Middle Ages in the fight with our nails jump 24 oz framing hammer serrated face. Have you ever noticed how the holes in the metal connectors have always been just a tiny bit more than the bulk (not collated) teco nails? If you do not hit that frickin 'nail with just the right amount of hammer blows would be in the house closest to the thumb and index finger - usually your own - and scrape a thick layer of skin beautiful .
Thencame the last decade of the 20th century. Constructus Almosterectus Homo, evolved to the point where we could nail these metal hangers with our pesky framing nailers. The only thing you had to worry about placing at the tip of the nailer of the nail hole was intended to go. For those who had difficulty achieving this, many jokes involving the hair has been invented.

Then came the Bostitch MCN-150 StrapShot. If there were a Nobel Prize for Innovative Tooldevelopment, I like to call the boys to Bostitch. It fits into tight spaces between the joists, it uses makes it the nail to find the point of view and after 1 week of daily use, the installation of hundreds of connectors Simpson, I can honestly say we had not missed.
If you work in the construction industry and your crew are not using this nailer chances are that you are not making money either. The only complaint I have is the lack of local nails for this gun. Until they become available, I willdid not finish the order on Amazon.
