I had this gun for almost two months now and I am pleased with the performance. The first time I tried to use the gun I had the same results as J. Larson had. It would not fire, finally pulled a nail, would not fire again, then fired a nail and would not fire more. After about fifteen minutes I gave up and got my Passload to supplement my current job. I read the owners manual and noticed that he spoke of new batteries need to be charged with a couple of times before workingto their full potential. I charged both batteries (I bought a second battery when I bought the gun) the day before. The rifle showed a green light, a battery, but I went ahead and recharge the batteries. The gun has worked great since. This problem could have been Mr. Larson also? It seems that the army needs more juice than the battery light flashing on the handle requires change to red. I had the gun not want to take a couple of times whilelight was green. I went to a new battery, recharge the old and the gun does not miss a stroke.

I had two Passloads (one works yet again) I like this more than the Hitachi Passloads. The Hitachi is better balanced and does not tire the hand so fast when shooting nails above your head for several minutes. The only thing I do not like the Hitachi over the Passload is the belt clip. The Hitachi was established nearly a left turn. The hook swings outthe right side of the weapon that forces you to turn around the gun so you can attach to your belt or pocket. Passloads The hook is mounted at the very end and pivots to either side.

I bought Hitachi this time instead of another Passload for two reasons. First the price, if I can save $ 100.00 for the same tool that I will. Secondly, a Passload Horable customer service. I went on their website and asked them about getting a couple of pieces of new work for my nose contact parts (one being aold (there are 2 models) models Passload not contact me. I finally gave up after half a dozen e-mails. In this day and customer service age should be a high priority. I sent Hitachi an email with a couple of questions and they answered back immediately with answers and an e-mail to answer if I had other issues. A +++++ on customer service.

I highly recommend this product to Passload for these two reasons, and it is a quality made pistol andfar.
