Cheap Paslode T200 500959 18-Gauge 5/8 to 2-Inch Brad Nailer Review
I bought this nailer a few weeks ago and have made some use now. Although I was disappointed, to say the least, to see that it is actually manufactured in Taiwan rather than the U.S. Amazon, it is still a good tool. Composed mainly of plastic and aluminum, it is very light and seems to be able to hold up the light use I'll make. I pulled the nails of various sizes in different brands, and have not had any jams or problems. The air I supply to the gun isaround 80 psi and I pulled brads very hard, very dense hardwood and the wood very soft and smooth to the pressure. I suppose it is better to use less pressure as you can because it saves wear on both nailer and compressor. I deliberately shot nails into the nodes (although this should be avoided) and they all went in without problem - 5 / 8 "to 2" brads. The tool is very easy to use and comes with a case which is nice. For the price of this nail gun is in the topend of its category in my opinion - especially as all the others are also manufactured in Taiwan. I am confident he will give me years of good service if used and maintained properly.

Paslode T200 500959 18-Gauge 5/8 to 2-Inch Brad Nailer Specifications
Most of us who use pneumatic nailers are partial to one brand or another, and if Paslode isn’t usually your choice, we think you owe it to yourself to have a look at this brad nailer.
We’ll get out of the way the only thing we don’t like: depth-of-drive isn’t tool-free. Aside from that relatively small thing, this is one fantastic nailer. It’s the lightest we’ve ever had in hand, and while that may not seem like such an important thing, it will be if you’re working overhead for extended periods.
Probably its most outstanding feature is an unusually streamlined nose architecture that fits neatly into spots the other brands can’t reach and guarantees your fastener drives exactly where you want it to.
Of course, this Paslode has all the things you expect from any nailer: a non-marring tip, directional exhaust to keep debris away from your face and a nice fastener length range, from 5/8 to 2-inch brads.
If you’ve already got a 16-gauge, you may not feel the need for the smaller gun, but we’ll just say that its delicate touch is all we’d want when working with cove, shoe, base and quarter-round moldings, stair spindles, outside crown corners, paneling, and any sort of decorative trim.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste
